Temporary Revised RNSS Training Timetable

Dear Parents and Swimmers

As you are already aware, Merchant Taylor's school are having repairs done on their pool. We have been informed that they plan to be open by 9th October.  As a result, we have had to re arrange our timetable with the pool time we do have for the two week Mon 25th Sept - Sun 8th Oct. The revised timetable can be found on the RNSS Training page here.
We have tried to keep disruption to a minimum by maintaining session frequency by sacrificing some time in certain sessions. Swimmers are more likely to maintain and improve on levels of fitness and skill acquisition by training for less time each session, rather than training less sessions in a week.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Best Regards

After a nice summer break, a group of swimmers returned to race at Richard Early Relay Gala at Witney.
The format was relays only, and every age group had 5 relays with 4x25 for the 11 and Unders, then 4x50 for the older age groups (Free, Back, Brs, Fly & Medley).
After a close meet, Hillingdon ran out the Winners with 204 points, City of Milton Keynes in 2nd with 196 and Witney SC coming 3rd with 186.

Well done to everyone - especially any swimmers who returned early from their breaks to swim for the team. Great job!
