
NEW MEMBERS 
INFORMATION FOR NEW MEMBERS - HEALTH
Swimmer unwell:
- Do not bring them to training (as in the case of schools policy). Especially if they have any illness that may be contagious, ie sickness, stomach bugs etc. – we don’t want it spread to other children or the coaches!
Injuries:
- Take advice from your child’s doctor regarding continuing training whilst injured.
- Your coach will try to accommodate your child’s restricted ability in the training session – although this may not always be possible.
Missed sessions:
- 1-2 missed sessions should not be an issue. No need to inform your squad rep or coach unless infectious.
- More than 2 sessions due to illness, injury, holiday etc, please inform your squad rep.
